“The New Regulation on Commercial Advertising and Unfair Commercial Practice” Training
The new Consumer Protection Law put in the force on May 28th 2014. The new law, regulates the consumer rights in many aspects including the marketing communication and advertising and also regulates the sanctions for those breaking the law.
While the new Consumer Protection Law establishes the framework of practices, the regulations were expected for the details of implementation and control. Within the scope of this new law, 18 new regulations put in force. Among those regulations, the Commercial Advertising and Unfair Commercial Practice Regulation which has a direct affect on marketing communication activities put in force on January 10th 2015, except one of it’s clause. For the marketing communication activites, prepared after the January 10th 2015, the new provisions that takes place in the Commercial Advertising and Unfair Commercial Practice Regulation has to be taken into consideration.
